Salve ragazzi,
mi trovo in una situazione non disperata, bensì disperatissimaaaa!!!!
Dico, innanzitutto, che possiedo un SONY Vaio con Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit), processore Intel Core i5 M520 a 2.40 GHz, 4 GB di RAM installata, scheda video Ati Radeon HD5650.

In poche parole, il mio PC ha il problema del Blue Screen:esce dapprima la famosa scritta blu dopo la quale il PC si riavvia automaticamente. Questo difetto ha cominciato a manifestarsi da gennaio e da allora non ha più smesso di rompere le balle! Ormai sono 6 mesi, l'ultima volta è stato proprio 5 minuti fa (sto scrivendo infatti da modalità provvisoria) e adesso non ne posso proprio più.
Ho fatto ricerche e ricerche sul web per trovare soluzioni e ho provato di tutto e di più. La prima volta, ho proprio formattato il PC: tempo una settimana e il problema si ripresenta. Allora inizio a pensare che il problema fosse qualche aggiornamento windows installato: così RIFORMATTO tutto e disattivo gli aggiornamenti automatici. Il PC va bene per un paio di settimane e di nuovo il BSOD. Perciò faccio un controllo dell'hardware con l'applicazione Vaio Care: non esce nessun anomalia, la RAM è a posto e anche la scheda video.
Sfogliando il web leggo che i portatili Vaio hanno problemi di incompatibilità con gli aggiornamenti della scheda grafica ATI; per cui faccio una pulizia con Driver Sweeper e reinstallo i driver proprietari dal sito della Sony. Ma niente!!! Il problema persiste!! .

La cosa bella è che al momento del blue screen non esce dxgkrnl.sys come errore, ma atikmpag.sys .
Da febbraio non ho più formattato il PC, né installato aggiornamenti windows (ce li ho disattivati) e sto andando avanti così, con questo problema che mi fa perdere la testa. Aggiungo che da un mesetto il PC a volte si spegne da solo senza far uscire il messaggio di BSOD. Inoltre riesco comunque a usare senza NESSUNISSIMO PROBLEMA la modalità provvisoria, cosa che mi fa pensare sempre più che il problema non può essere della scheda video o di un altro dispositivo hardware, o no?!
Perdonatemi la lunghezza, ma avevo bisogno di scrivere tutto il possibile, nella speranza che voi, ALMENO VOI, mi possiate dare una mano. Io non so più che fare, grazie di cuore.

Potresti mettere in quarantena la scheda video e vedere se il problema persiste
se non sei troppo sfrotunato la tua scheda madre dovrebbe integrarne una a livello base
quindi in pratica dovresti entrare nel BIOS e disabilitare quella ATI, usando quindi l'altra
se noti dopo gioni di utilizzo che il problema non si presenta piu' almeno hai capito (diciamo con certezza) di chi era la colpa...

La mia ipotesi è che si tratti o del driver della scheda video oppure di qualche difetto hardware della scheda grafica.
Hai detto che il problema ha cominciato a manifestarsi da gennaio, ma casualmente o in seguito a qualche aggiornamento? Se casualmente allora è probabile che sia un difetto hardware, se no è probabile che sia un difetto driver.

Nel caso che sia probabilmente un difetto driver allora potresti provare con versioni più vecchie dei driver finché non trovi la versione che non ti manda più in BS, dopodiché segnali il problema alla amd.

Nel caso che sia un difetto hardware (vedi il post [2] di Russell) allora è probabile che il problema sia la scheda video.


Nota:
Non ho abusato della parola probabile perché in queste situazioni è difficile dire con assoluta certezza qual è veramente la causa del problema. Per quanto ti possa sembrare assurdo, pur conducendo i test che ti abbiamo consigliato, è anche probabile che sia un problema di alimentazione, o un problema di scheda madre o chissà cos'altro.

Se in modalità provvisoria non da problemi l'hardware va escluso..

Rimane il problema driver o SO.

Non è male sapere le proprie temperature del PC, ma credo che il problema sia a qualche driver, nel frattempo vediamo se il PC ha caldo.

EDIT: leggendo il log sembra che il problema sia il driver video.

Non è necessariamente vero.
Tempo fa avevo una Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS come scheda video del PC fisso. Particolare tipico di questo modello di scheda video è che dopo un po' di anni non si sa bene cosa, non si sa bene perché, si rompe/danneggia.
L'effetto di questo danno è visibile: durante il boot (alcuni caratteri sono pasticciati); in windows (BSOD durante l'avvio di windows che avviene al caricamente dei drivers della scheda video); in windows in modalità provvisoria (alcune strisce verticali in mezzo allo schermo).
La modalità provvisoria (a parte quelle strisce verticali) faceva funzionare il PC come nella norma, ci ho lavorato per 6-7 mesi finché non mi sono rotto le pillole e ne ho comprata una nuova.

Questo per dire che in modalità provvisoria anche hardware difettoso può far funzionare il PC nella norma.
