Sia il RAID 1 che il 5 richiedono dischi di uguale capacità, diversamente equivale a mettere insieme dischi uguali aventi la capacitò del più piccolo.
Con i dischi che hai tu, non si riesce a fare 1,4 Gb con ridondanza e prestazioni.
Personalmente, acquisterei una coppia di dischi nuovi (sconsiglio i Maxtor) da 1,5 Tb e farei un RAID 1.
Con i dischi che hai tu, a spanne, puoi arrivare al massimo a 600 Gb con RAID 5.
